Connor Clark & Lunn Investment Management Ltd., a financial services firm, has recently acquired a new stake in The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV), an insurance provider.

The company acquired approximately 248,742 shares of the stock, valued at around $82,115,000, during the second quarter. This represents about 0.12% of Travelers Companies' outstanding shares, according to a recent disclosure with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

This is not an isolated instance; several other institutional investors have also acquired new stakes in TRV during the same period.
