Trump Administration Revokes Over 250,000 Visas Amid Crime and Security Concerns
The US State Department has revoked over 250,000 visas during President Trump's second term in office. This number includes foreign nationals who have violated visa terms or committed crimes.
The visas were revoked for various reasons such as calling for violence against the US or Americans, defrauding citizens, abusing the immigration system, and endangering national security.
The majority of revoked visas resulted from law enforcement encounters with foreign nationals who had committed crimes like assault, theft, drugs, reckless driving, sexual assault, child abuse, and driving under the influence.
The State Department also cited specific examples of crimes committed by foreign nationals whose visas were revoked, including one who was charged with felony kidnapping, human trafficking, and sexual exploitation of a minor.
