Trump Defends Boeing 737 Max After Flydubai Crash Incident
US President Donald Trump has praised Boeing's 737 Max plane after it was involved in an incident involving Flydubai. The plane, which was flying to Tel Aviv, plummeted nearly 14,000 feet in less than 30 seconds before passengers and crew were able to regain control and land safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
In his praise for the plane, Trump noted that it was able to withstand 'G Forces and Strain far beyond what it was designed and expected to do.'
The incident occurred on Tuesday, but Trump did not directly reference it. Instead, he praised Boeing Co (NYSE:BA) and its CEO Kelly Ortberg.
