Trump Hosts State Dinner for Xi Jinping Amidst Star-Studded Guest List
US President Donald Trump hosted a State Dinner on Thursday at the White House to honor Chinese President Xi Jinping. The guest list was released by the White House press office and included many notable figures from both the US and China.
Among the US officials in attendance were Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Chief of Staff Susie Wiles. They were joined by other government officials, including the Secretaries of Commerce, Energy, and Health and Human Services.
The Chinese delegation was led by President Xi Jinping and included several high-ranking officials from China's Politburo Standing Committee. Other notable guests from China included the Foreign Minister Wang Yi and the Vice Premier He Lifeng.
From the tech world, some of the notable guests included Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, and Tim Cook, CEO of Apple. Bernard Arnault, the CEO of LVMH, was also in attendance.
