Trump's July Stock Trades Total $79M to $270M, Raise Conflict Concerns
U.S. President Donald Trump's July stock trades have been revealed in a recent disclosure by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics, showing that over 1,000 transactions were made on his behalf that month. The combined value of these trades is estimated to be between $79 million and $270 million.
The majority of Trump's trades were focused on technology stocks, including Microsoft Corp., Amazon.com, Oracle Corp., Intuit Inc., and Marvell Technology. On July 20, he sold $5 million to $25 million in both Microsoft and Amazon shares, only to buy back smaller amounts of both on July 23.
Trump also traded in other technology companies, such as Nvidia, Salesforce, Meta Platforms, ServiceNow, Workday, and Adobe Inc. In addition to these tech-heavy trades, he also made transactions in Elon Musk-linked companies, including SpaceX and Tesla.
The largest disclosed ETF trades involved iShares Russell 1000 ETF, SPDR Bloomberg International Treasury Bond ETF, and Fidelity MSCI Communication Services Index ETF, each with transactions valued between $1 million and $5 million.
