Apple (AAPL) is introducing stricter controls around Full Disk Access in its macOS system, aiming to enhance user privacy. The company stated that some developers misuse this permission, potentially exposing sensitive data without adequate user awareness.

Qualcomm (QCOM) has struck a multiyear cross-licensing agreement with Huawei, covering technologies in 5G, AI, optics, and networks. The deal, pending US Federal Trade Commission review, is part of Huawei's goal to exceed $6.9 billion in total contract value from all patent licensing agreements.

Meanwhile, AMD (AMD) CEO Lisa Su recently visited Taiwan to meet key suppliers, seeking additional manufacturing capacity from TSMC and other packaging and testing providers.
