Turkey, Bangladesh Order 111 Boeing Jets in Boost for US Exports
US President Donald Trump announced that Turkey and Bangladesh have signed deals to purchase a total of 111 Boeing aircraft, with options for an additional 50 planes. The purchases are valued in the tens of billions of dollars and will support tens of thousands of American jobs across the country.
The agreements follow support from US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and the Department of Commerce, according to Trump's post on Truth Social.
Trump highlighted the economic impact of the deals, stating that they will boost US exports while supporting domestic workers. He also noted that the market is recognizing the benefits of manufacturing in the United States and exporting American-made products.
