Turkish Airlines Commits to Large-Scale Boeing Aircraft Acquisition
Turkish Airlines has announced plans to purchase 150 aircraft from Boeing. The deal includes a firm order for 100 Boeing 737 MAX jets and an option for 50 more. This latest acquisition follows a similar agreement last year, in which the airline purchased another 225 Boeing jets.
The new planes will be delivered between 2033 and 2037. Turkish Airlines currently operates a fleet of 514 aircraft and flies to over 130 countries, carrying around 92.6 million passengers annually.
