United Axes Daily Flights from Newark to Lima

United Airlines has made an unexpected decision to cut its flights from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Lima, Peru. The airline had announced that it would not cut any routes in 2027, but this move is a clear contradiction to that statement.

The route was scheduled for daily service with a Boeing 757-200 aircraft, which would have been the variant's second-longest route from EWR after Malaga. However, all flights planned for summer 2027 have been removed from United's schedule.
