US Stock Futures Mixed Ahead of Retail Earnings and Fed Minutes
U.S. stock futures were trading mixed overnight ahead of key retail earnings and the release of the Federal Reserve's July meeting minutes. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.09%, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100 futures climbed 0.09% and 0.25% respectively.
The S&P 500 and Nasdaq have come off three consecutive weeks of gains, with the former notching fresh record highs in recent sessions. Home Depot is expected to post results on Tuesday, while Target's print is scheduled for Wednesday and Walmart will report its latest earnings on Thursday.
The Memorandum of Understanding between the U.S. and Iran is set to expire on Monday, which may add to tensions between the two countries. The agreement is unlikely to be extended, as both countries have accused each other of violating it in recent weeks.
