US Stock Futures Slip as Israel-Iran Truce Faces Strains
The fragile Israel-Iran truce is facing new strains as the US and Iran's ceasefire remains uncertain. Despite both countries agreeing to pause attacks on each other, Iran has said it will resume its attacks against Israel if Hezbollah is targeted.
US stock futures slipped in the overnight session, with the Dow declining by 0.29%, S&P 500 futures falling 0.26%, and Nasdaq 100 futures trading 0.36% lower.
Broadcom Inc. (AVGO) closed up nearly 3% on Monday after a sharp selloff last week, while Nvidia Corp. (NVDA) edged up 1.7% at close.
