US Stocks Eye Bounce Back as Tech Giants Suffer Monday Losses
The US stock markets are looking to bounce back on Tuesday after Monday's losses. The Dow industrials, S&P 500, and Nasdaq Composite suffered declines due in part to falls for Amazon, Alphabet, and Marvell.
Amazon (AMZN.US) led the pack with a 2.5% drop following news that the US government is suing the retail giant over alleged manipulation of advertising prices. Marvell Technology (MRVL.US) shed 2.3% in its third consecutive session of losses, attributed to last week's poorly received quarterly results.
Alphabet-A (GOOGL.US) also took a hit with a 2.1% decline as part of tech stocks' general woes. Other notable decliners included Applovin (APP.US), NEBIUS (NBIS.US), and Oracle (ORCL.US).
