US stocks ended Friday, August 21, on a stronger note, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising 517.80 points to 53,277.01, while the S&P 500 gained 0.4% to 7,674.37 and the Nasdaq Composite advanced 0.4% to 26,180.45.

However, despite the gains, all three major indexes still recorded weekly losses: the S&P 500 fell about 1.4%, the Dow declined 0.8%, and the Nasdaq dropped 2.1%.

The market will be focused on Nvidia's upcoming earnings report, Federal Reserve signals, Treasury yields, oil prices, and geopolitical developments for clues about Monday's opening direction.
