US Stocks Plummet as Industrials and Tech Sectors Take a Hit

The U.S. stock market closed lower on Tuesday, with losses in key sectors like Industrials and Technology weighing heavily on stocks.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.22%, while the S&P 500 dropped 0.69% and the NASDAQ Composite plummeted 1.33%.

Among the biggest gainers, Johnson & Johnson rose 3.33% to $271.11, followed by Salesforce Inc., which added 2.71% to end at $196.14, and Nike Inc., up 2.48% to $40.06.

In contrast, Caterpillar Inc. led the pack of decliners with a loss of 4.58%, while NVIDIA Corporation dropped 2.34% and Sherwin-Williams Co. shed 1.35%.
