US Stocks Rebound After Fed Rate Decision
US stock markets rebounded on Thursday following the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision on Wednesday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by around 0.5%, or 250 points, while the S&P 500 gained 1% and the Nasdaq Composite advanced 1.3%.
Technology stocks led the gains, with Nvidia and Amazon rising about 2% each, Microsoft gaining 1%, and other AI-related stocks like Applied Materials, Qualcomm, and Intel advancing by around 2-4%.
The rebound was also supported by lower oil prices, with US crude falling to around $100 a barrel and Brent crude declining to roughly $102 a barrel.
