Vacation Fun Stays Closed at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Disney's Hollywood Studios experienced some vacation fun of its own on September 27, but not in a good way. The Mickey Shorts Theater was supposed to reopen after a six-week closure so that Annual Passholders could receive their Kermit-themed magnets. However, the theater remained closed with a sign outside reading 'Vacation Fun: Sorry no shows today.'

Vacation Fun is an original animated short film starring Mickey and Minnie Mouse, celebrating their favorite vacation memories. The show features never-before-seen animation mixed with clips from various Mickey Mouse shorts.

The distribution of Annual Passholder magnets at the theater was supposed to conclude on September 24, but Vacation Fun's reopening hours were listed for September 27. Unfortunately, the doors to the exit and photo ops inspired by the short film remained closed, suggesting that a further delay is in store.
