Van ECK Associates Corp has reduced its stake in Amazon.com by 6.5% in the second quarter, according to the company's latest SEC filing. This decrease comes after selling 75,832 shares of Amazon stock during this period.

The fund now holds 1,096,656 shares of Amazon's stock, which is worth approximately $261 million as of its most recent SEC filing.

Other institutional investors and hedge funds have also recently bought or sold shares of AMZN. For example, Bard Associates Inc. acquired a new position in Amazon.com during the second quarter worth about $32,000.

AWS and AI infrastructure remain a major area of focus for Amazon, with analysts citing substantial demand for these services as justification for the company's planned $200 billion capital-expenditure plan by 2026.
