Lorri Lee Dunn, a devoted chef and entrepreneur, passed away on September 15 from an apparent heart attack. Born in Rhinebeck, NY on February 16, 1956, Lorri grew up to become a skilled cook and business owner.

She met her future husband, Robert Dunn, in Vermont and they married in 1980. The couple had a long and successful partnership, both personally and professionally. Lorri's culinary talents were evident from an early age, and she worked for IBM before starting her own home catering business in the early 1990s.

In 1993, Lorri leased a building in Jeffersonville, VT to open 'Dinner's Dunn,' a popular restaurant that served customers from around the world. When the restaurant closed in the early 2000s, Lorri continued to cook and entertain until a back injury forced her to slow down.

Lorri is survived by her husband of 40 years, Robert Dunn, as well as her daughter Corey Decker, stepdaughter Krista Coolidge, sister Kelly Pottenburgh, and numerous friends and relatives. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lorri's name to an animal welfare charity.
