Vest Financial Reduces Stake in Johnson & Johnson Amid Strong Earnings

Vest Financial LLC, an investment firm, has reduced its stake in Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) by selling 103,567 shares during the second quarter. According to a recent Form 13F filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission, Vest Financial's holdings in JNJ were worth $65.848 million as of the latest filing.

Johnson & Johnson has been performing well, with its revenue rising 6.6% to $25.31 billion in the second quarter, exceeding analysts' estimates. The company also reported adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $2.90, beating the consensus estimate of $2.84. Management raised its FY 2026 guidance to $11.600-$11.750 EPS.

The sale by Vest Financial was part of a broader trend in which several large investors modified their holdings of JNJ during the quarter. Auto Owners Insurance Co, for example, increased its stake in JNJ by 22,225.6% in the fourth quarter and now owns 69,419,308 shares valued at $1.436 billion.
