Vi Business and Cisco Team Up to Boost Hybrid SD-WAN Solutions
Vi Business, the enterprise arm of Vodafone Idea, has strengthened its Hybrid SD-WAN offering by partnering with Cisco. The collaboration integrates Cisco Meraki’s cloud-managed networking and security capabilities with Vi Business’ nationwide connectivity and managed services. This expanded proposition aims to support enterprises modernizing their distributed network infrastructure, particularly as cloud adoption and multi-location operations grow.
The Hybrid SD-WAN solution, launched in 2023, combines SD-WAN, security, and multi-cloud integration with managed connectivity across leased lines, broadband, and cellular networks. Under this partnership, Cisco Meraki will provide the networking platform, while Vi Business will deliver connectivity and end-to-end managed services. Enterprises will benefit from a single managed service for networking, security, and connectivity, with Vi Business offering proactive monitoring, lifecycle management, and support.
Cisco Meraki’s cloud-managed platform allows enterprises to manage their SD-WAN environments through a central dashboard, featuring application- and performance-aware routing and security. Vi Business complements this with its nationwide connectivity infrastructure and managed-services model, enabling businesses to use various connectivity options across locations while managing the network through a unified service.
