A Vietnam Airlines Boeing 787 experienced technical difficulties during takeoff at Munich airport last Saturday.

The aircraft, which was preparing for departure, encountered anomalies in acceleration while taxiing on the runway, approximately halfway through.

Pilots detected that the plane was unable to gain speed for about two seconds before managing to accelerate initially and reach the critical takeoff speed.

However, upon entering flight, the crew noticed a decrease in speed and received alert messages indicating that the tail had struck the runway and four of the eight tires were losing pressure.
