During his visit to the US as part of the UN General Assembly and bilateral activities in Canada, Vietnamese President To Lam met with key figures from Coca-Cola and Standard Chartered.

The meetings aimed to strengthen investment and financial cooperation between Vietnam and the US under their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Tuan, a Vietnamese official, expressed appreciation for Coca-Cola's operations in Vietnam, which have exceeded 1 billion USD over more than 30 years. He highlighted the company's contributions to production, job creation, state budget revenues, supply chain development, and community programs.

The two sides discussed future cooperation, with Thompson from Coca-Cola stating that Vietnam remains an important market for the company, which aims to expand its operations while promoting innovation, supply chains, green transition, and sustainable development in Vietnam.
