Vintage Disney Cards Make Surprise Appearance on eBay and Card Ladder

Vintage Disney cards are becoming increasingly valuable among collectors, but it's not necessary to break the bank to own a piece of history. Recent sales on eBay and Card Ladder show that vintage cards featuring iconic characters like Mickey Mouse can be surprisingly affordable when they surface.

The prices mentioned in these sales include a 1935 O-Pee-Chee Mickey Mouse card graded BVG 3, which sold for $300 in April 2023. Another example of this card was listed as PSA 8 and also sold for $300 on eBay in April 2023. Donald Duck's early collectible, a 1935 card graded PSA 8, also sold for $300.

For collectors interested in cards tied to major moments in Disney history, the Castell Bros. Snow White #1 PSA 8 is a notable find. This card comes from the same era as the release of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937. A sale of this card took place on eBay in December 2024 for just under $300.

Other vintage Disney cards worth keeping an eye out for include a Pinocchio PSA 10, which sold for $500 in July 2023, and a 1956 Walt Disney Lady #15 PSA 9 that sold for $255 in April 2026. A Mickey Mouse card from Germany's Fernseh-Parade issue also made the list, selling for $500 in December 2023.
