Visa expands NFL partnerships to 13 teams
Visa Inc. has expanded its presence in the NFL by adding seven new team partnerships and renewing agreements with four others. The company now collaborates with 13 NFL franchises, including the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, Washington Commanders, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, and Philadelphia Eagles. Visa also extended its relationships with the San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, and Pittsburgh Steelers, while maintaining existing ties with the Chicago Bears and Baltimore Ravens.
The partnerships will focus on enhancing fan experiences through game-day activities, community programs, client activations, and commerce opportunities. Visa aims to engage fans in various aspects of the football season, such as travel, ticketing, dining, merchandise, and entertainment transactions.
Frank Cooper III, Chief Marketing Officer at Visa, emphasized the company's goal to create meaningful fan interactions. “We are building partnerships that help Visa bring fans closer to the people and communities driving culture across music, gaming, entertainment, and, of course, sports,” he said. Additional activations and programs are expected to be announced throughout the 2026 season.
Visa's strategy aligns with its broader approach to connect with consumers through sports-related commerce moments. The company also sponsors major global events, including the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the FIFA World Cup, and Red Bull Racing.
