Wall Street Slumps Amid Stabilized Oil Prices
Global markets showed mixed results after Wall Street declined on Tuesday, with oil prices stabilizing.
The S&P 500 index was largely unchanged, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 173 points, or 0.4 per cent, and the Nasdaq composite rose 0.2 per cent.
Nvidia and Broadcom were among the biggest winners in the tech sector, with Nvidia rising 0.8 per cent and Broadcom increasing 3.3 per cent.
The price of Brent crude oil dropped to $96.41 a barrel after briefly reaching above $100 on Monday.
