Walmart Tops Rivals in Back-to-School Supply Prices
Back-to-school season is upon us, and with it comes the age-old question: where can you find the best deals on school supplies? To answer this query, a recent comparison of prices at Walmart, Target, and Amazon reveals some surprising results.
The study looked at the prices of various essential items such as notebooks, binders, folders, pens, pencils, glue sticks, highlighters, calculators, backpacks, and lunch boxes. While there were some minor variations in price across the three retailers, one clear winner emerged: Walmart.
Walmart came out on top with an overall total of $118.43 before tax, followed closely by Amazon at $128.82, and Target at $130.19. When it comes to specific items, Walmart offered the best deals on pencil cases, while Target had cheaper planners and calculators.
However, it's worth noting that some items were priced similarly across all three retailers, such as notebooks and highlighters. In these cases, the choice between Walmart, Target, and Amazon may ultimately come down to personal preference or convenience.
