Wells Fargo Snags JPMorgan Banking Vet for Tech Deal Advisory Role

Wells Fargo & Co., one of the largest US banks, has hired David Harkin, a veteran investment banker from JPMorgan Chase & Co., to advise on technology deals. Harkin will be based in San Francisco and report directly to Brian Gudofsky, head of TMT Investment Banking at Wells Fargo.

Harkin's new role as managing director and co-head of technology alongside Tej Shah marks a significant addition to Wells Fargo's investment banking team. He had previously held the position of co-head of Internet investment banking at JPMorgan.
