Western Overseas Sees Profit Growth Amid Revenue Decline
Western Overseas Study Abroad Limited has released its investor presentation ahead of a virtual group meeting scheduled for September 3, 2026. The company reported a revenue decline of 10.8% to ₹2,027 Lakhs in FY26 compared to FY25's ₹2,273 Lakhs, but saw a significant rise in profitability with a 23.5% increase in PAT to ₹273 Lakhs.
The EBITDA margin expanded by over 500 basis points to 22.4%, driven by operational efficiencies and a shift in revenue mix. The company's visa approval rate remained stable at 79.38%, while diversified revenue streams reduced commission dependence. Western Overseas is allocating ₹342.5 Lakhs for media campaigns and ₹300 Lakhs for digital infrastructure build.
The balance sheet shows a net cash position of ₹289 Lakhs, with total equity increasing to ₹1,853 Lakhs supported by IPO primary capital and retained earnings. The company is long-term debt-free, with only short-term borrowings of ₹210 Lakhs.
