Windows 11 Feature Rollouts Delayed, Even After Installing Updates

Microsoft's Windows 11 has been rolling out new features each month, but many users are not seeing them appear after installing updates. This is according to Marcus Ash, the design and research boss for Windows & Devices at Microsoft.

In an X post, Marcus acknowledged that some users have reported not seeing the latest features after checking for updates, despite being on the latest version of Windows 11. He attributed this to 'waves' of feature rollouts, which allow the company to ensure stability before deploying them broadly.

According to Marcus, even if a user installs an update that includes new features, they may not see them right away. Instead, they might get them automatically in the next wave of updates, which can take several weeks or even months.
