A recent Windows 11 update has caused issues for some users, including glitches with the mouse cursor and desktop wallpaper.

The KB5120998 update was released as a 'preview' to improve features such as re-positioning and moving the Taskbar. However, some users have reported that the update causes their custom mouse cursors or accessibility settings to be changed or reverted to standard settings.

Mary, a user on Reddit, wrote: 'After I installed this update, my wallpaper turned black, now I have [a] very large mouse cursor that changes to normal at random.'

Microsoft has acknowledged the issue and is investigating. In the meantime, users who rely on custom mouse cursors or accessibility settings are advised to hold off installing the update.
