CD Projekt Red has confirmed that the Nvidia Hairworks feature in The Witcher 3 Remastered is causing significant performance issues for PC gamers. This issue affects framerates, with one user reporting a drop from 171 FPS to 67 FPS after enabling Hairworks.

The studio has recommended disabling Hairworks until a patch can be released to address the problem. A fix is currently in development, but no ETA has been given for its release.
