A McDonald's restaurant in Worcester city centre has seen hundreds of reported crimes over five years, including violent assaults and sex attacks. According to data released to the Worcester News, there were 253 offences at the Foregate location between 2021/22 and 2025/26. The types of crimes included 87 assaults without injury, 40 assaults with injury, three sexual assaults, and seven thefts.

McDonald's staff have been praised for their role in reporting crime and providing safety to customers. Safer Neighbourhood Inspector Dave Wise said that people often come to McDonald's to report crime or seek support, and the restaurant plays a positive role in keeping Worcester city centre safe.

The data showed that relatively few reported crimes resulted in charges, with only 17 charges over the five-year period.
