Xbox Cloud Gaming Hits Hour Limits for Some Subscribers
Xbox has introduced monthly hour limits to its cloud gaming service for Game Pass subscribers. The move, which affects some users who rely heavily on cloud gaming, will limit their playtime to specific hours per month.
The changes come into effect in November and affect the following plans:
- Game Pass Ultimate: 15 hours
- Game Pass Premium: 10 hours
- Game Pass Essential: 5 hours
Subscribers will be able to purchase additional cloud playtime through the Xbox Store once their included hours have been used. Microsoft claims that only 4% of Game Pass subscribers will be impacted by this change.
