$65.5 Million DOE Investment Targets Domestic Oil and Gas Production
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has announced up to $65.5 million in federal funding for research, development, and deployment projects aimed at strengthening domestic oil and natural gas production.
The investment targets three key goals: improving the efficiency and reliability of critical energy infrastructure, converting underutilized resources into marketable products, and reducing U.S. dependence on foreign energy sources.
Eligible projects must be cost-shared with non-federal partners, and applicants have until September 22, 2026, to submit their proposals.
