AlUla Peregrina Develops Natural Ingredients in Saudi Arabia

AlUla Peregrina, a Saudi Arabian company founded by the Royal Commission for AlUla in 2021, is developing natural ingredients from the Moringa peregrina tree for cosmetics and personal care products.

The company's chairman of the board, Abobakar Alanazi, stated that AlUla Peregrina aims to become a platform for high-quality active natural ingredients and expand its presence in regional and global markets.

AlUla Peregrina focuses on developing oils and extracts from Moringa peregrina, including ceramides, plant exosomes, bioactive peptides, and antioxidants. The company conducts research, laboratory testing, and clinical efficacy assessments before commercial use.

Four registered patents related to research and development work have been filed by AlUla Peregrina. The company is also exploring the use of ingredients in hair care products and wellness products.
