ARA Fuel Oil Stocks Surge Amid Rising Demand and Tight Bunkers
Fuel oil inventories in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp region have averaged 15% higher in September so far than August, according to Insights Global data.
This increase comes after stocks rose by roughly 706,000 barrels to 5.33 million barrels in September, while gasoil inventories increased by about 255,000 barrels to 12.33 million barrels.
Fuel oil stocks have seen a significant rise, up around 47% from May, when they reached their lowest level in more than a decade. However, they remain 18% below February levels recorded before the conflict broke out in the Middle East.
