Gold prices in Chennai saw a decline on September 28, 2026, dropping by Rs 1,880 per sovereign. The current price of gold is now at Rs 1,10,120 per sovereign and Rs 13,765 per gram, after a decrease of Rs 235 per gram.

Compared to its previous price on September 26, the yellow metal has dropped by Rs 1,880 per sovereign. The current price of silver is also lower at Rs 245 per gram, down from Rs 250 per gram on September 26.
