Saudi Aramco has informed some European customers that their October deliveries of crude oil will not proceed due to an attack on a key Saudi pipeline.

The disruption was caused by drone attacks that damaged three pumping stations and disrupted oil loadings at the Red Sea port of Yanbu, forcing Saudi Arabia to cancel some crude cargoes for Europe.

Aramco is working to partially restart the pipeline within days and restore it to full capacity within six weeks, according to a person familiar with the matter.
