Aramco Halts Oil Shipments to Two European Refineries Amid Pipeline Damage

Saudi Aramco has informed at least two European refining customers that they will not receive their usual monthly shipments of Saudi oil next month. This decision comes after a drone attack on the kingdom's key East-West oil pipeline.

The affected refineries typically receive their oil under long-term supply agreements, but these volumes will be allocated elsewhere this month. The disruption has already forced some customers to seek alternative sources, with Poland's Orlen SA issuing over ten tenders since Friday to purchase replacement oil shipments.

Saudi Aramco did not immediately comment on the matter, and it is unclear how long the pipeline will remain offline. However, a source familiar with the situation expects partial operations to resume within a few days, with full capacity expected to be restored in six weeks.
