B.C. Conservative Leader Promises LNG Production Boom

B.C. Conservative Leader Lorne Doerkson unveiled his party's plan to boost the provincial economy by increasing liquefied natural gas production.

He promised to double LNG production by 2032 and triple it by 2035, calling it 'B.C.'s superpower plan.'

However, NDP candidate Ravi Parmar questioned Doerkson's ability to move from interim leader to permanent, saying the party board should make him permanent now.

Doerkson brushed aside concerns about his leadership status, stating that if the party membership decides to choose a new leader, it would be after the election and not during his campaign.
