Bangladesh Jewellers Association Cuts Gold Prices by Tk 2,216 Per Bhori

The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has reduced gold prices in the country by Tk 2,216 per bhori. The new price of 22-carat gold is now set at Tk 228,556 per bhori, including VAT. This adjustment took effect on Tuesday morning, with BAJUS announcing the decision via a notice issued earlier that day.

The association also lowered silver prices in the local market, reducing the price of 22-carat silver to Tk 4,316 per bhori, including VAT. The new prices will remain in effect at all jewellery shops across the country until further notice.
