On October 5, Brent crude oil prices experienced a decline, though they remained above $101 per barrel. This drop followed the G7's agreement to increase diesel and crude oil supplies, which helped ease concerns about global energy shortages. Additionally, oil exports from the Middle East have rebounded to pre-war levels, further contributing to the price adjustment.

According to preliminary data from Kpler, a ship-tracking firm, Middle Eastern crude exports surpassed pre-war levels on September 24 and again between September 27 and 29. During these periods, export rates ranged from 19.5 million to 22.5 million barrels per day, as reported by Reuters.

Analysts at ING Bank noted that Brent crude prices have maintained levels above $100 per barrel, driven by ongoing geopolitical tensions between Tehran and Washington. The current Brent price for November delivery stands at $101.71, reflecting a 0.55% decrease. Meanwhile, WTI crude for November delivery is priced at $90.26, down 0.95%.
