Madbouly emphasized the importance of continued coordination among relevant authorities and the implementation of plans to increase domestic production and accelerate the development of new discoveries to strengthen energy security, maximize the use of Egypt's natural resources, and reinforce its position as a regional energy trading hub.

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi reviewed the ministry's plan to secure domestic energy supplies throughout August, outlining measures taken to guarantee fuel availability and operational alternatives. He also highlighted the implementation of various contingency scenarios to address changing conditions and ensure uninterrupted supplies to all sectors.
