Fischbach Wins Fueling Growth Award for Ethanol Advocacy

Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach (MN-07) received Growth Energy's Fueling Growth Award at its annual Biofuels Summit for her work on behalf of America's ethanol producers and corn growers. At the summit, Representative Fischbach emphasized the House's progress on advancing permanent, year-round E15 sales legislation. She noted that the House had passed both the Farm Bill and the permanent, year-round E15 legislation, but that it now needs to be passed by the Senate.

Fischbach highlighted the benefits of year-round E15, including savings for American consumers and a reduction in reliance on foreign oil. She also emphasized the importance of regulatory certainty for agricultural producers and consumers, stating 'I am tired of hitting the pause button on American energy every summer.'
