Gold and Silver Prices Drop in Pakistan Amid Global Decline

The global decline in gold and silver prices has led to a decrease in their rates in Pakistan's local markets. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs4,300 per tola, settling at Rs436,336. The price of 10-gram gold fell by Rs3,687 to Rs374,087.

Silver prices also followed the downward trend, with its rate declining by Rs56 per tola to Rs6,522. The price of 10-gram silver was reduced by Rs48 to Rs5,591.

The decline in gold and silver rates comes after a day when gold had gained Rs2,000 per tola, reaching Rs440,636. However, the bullion market has witnessed considerable fluctuations throughout the week.
