US Natural Gas Storage Sees Weekly Increase Despite Lower Year-Over-Year Levels
Natural gas storage in the U.S. increased by 64 billion cubic feet during the week ended September 25, 2026.
Total working gas inventories reached 3,415 Bcf as of that date, which was 138 Bcf below the comparable level from the previous year.
However, storage remained above the five-year average, indicating a relatively well-supplied underground storage system despite lower levels compared to last year.
