Gold staged a strong recovery last week after facing pressure in recent days. The precious metal rebounded by 1.62% to reach $4,182.24 per ounce, gaining momentum at lower price zones. This movement comes as investors continue to monitor U.S. Treasury yields and expectations surrounding Federal Reserve policy.

Aetram India Research noted that the recovery reflected renewed demand for gold at lower levels. However, elevated U.S. Treasury yields and expectations of further monetary tightening have restricted broader momentum in the market.

The MCX Gold price also strengthened, closing at ₹149,712, up 2.18% from its previous close. This increase is a significant move after the sharp decline seen earlier due to rising Treasury yields and expectations of U.S. monetary tightening.
