Gold prices surged in Pakistan on Wednesday, reaching new heights as the value of 24-karat gold exceeded Rs457,000 per tola. According to market data, the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs7,900 per tola, settling at Rs457,236. This significant increase mirrors gains seen in international precious metal markets, where gold gained $79 per ounce, reaching a global price of $4,347.

The rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased, rising by Rs6,773 to Rs392,006. Silver prices followed suit, with the value of 24-karat silver increasing by Rs140 per tola to Rs6,942.

These price movements reflect a broader upward trend in precious metal prices, both domestically and internationally. The latest gains suggest that investors are seeking safe-haven assets amidst market volatility.
