The gold price in Pakistan has seen a significant drop of Rs2,700 per tola. This comes as the price of various stocks and shares in the country's stock market have fluctuated.

Increases were observed in the prices of some shares, including those of BECO, which increased by 4.40 after a decrease of -0.04 (-0.9%), and PIBTL, which rose by 15.96 after an increase of 0.47 (3.03%).

Other shares that saw significant drops include BOP, down by 30.97 after a decrease of -0.22 (-0.71%), and OGDC, down by 317.49 after a decrease of -0.57 (-0.18%).
