Gold Prices in India See Slight Dip on October 2

The latest gold prices in India on October 2, 2026, have buyers tracking the bullion and jewellery rates across the country. The India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) provides indicative retail selling rates for different purities of gold, while major jewellery brands publish their own rates for gold jewellery.

The IBJA rates for October 2 show that Fine Gold (999 purity) was priced at Rs 14,814 per gram. The indicative rate for 22 KT gold stood at Rs 14,458 per gram, while 20 KT gold was at Rs 13,184 per gram. The IBJA rates also showed 18 KT gold at Rs 11,999 per gram and 14 KT gold at Rs 9,555 per gram.

Jewellery brands such as Tanishq, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Joyalukkas, and Kalyan Jewellers have their own rates for 22K gold jewellery. On October 2, these rates were reported to be Rs 13,725 per gram at Tanishq, Rs 13,775 per gram at Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Joyalukkas, and Kalyan Jewellers.
